My name is Sonu Gupta. I have pursued Masters in Computer Science from State University of New York, Binghamton.
I have worked as a Research Assistant and my primary research was on development of energy efficient Data Center scheduling algorithms for improving energy consumption and maintaining QoS for request latency.
Previously, I have worked for 8+ years in the industry, I have hands-on experience on technologies such as C/C++, C++ 11, STL, NodeJS, C#, Multithreading, Win32 SDK, MFC, COM, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and Sqlite Database. I am good with CI tools such as Jenkins, Bash/PowerShell Scripting. I firmly believe in TDD approach and quite familiar with various unit testing frameworks such as Unity and GTest. My primary interest lies in back-end, distributed systems, networking, cloud computing and IoT.
I am passionate coder and often work on my personal projects where I build tools, applications and explore new technologies. In my free time I watch TV serials and read books. I like adventures, travelling, and hiking.
